Alpaca   Scinentific name: Vicugna Pacos

The alpaca is a relative to the llama and both were domesticated in South America. However, their scientific names are different and are not in the same genus, Lama and vicugna. The alpaca's accentor is now thought to be vicuña. The Llama and Alpaca are both camelids. They live in the Andean region.
